For over 40 years, Peter has been a change agent working in New Zealand, the UK, and Australia. He has gathered a wealth of experience as a practitioner and policy consultant in fields such as grief and loss, couples and family relationship counselling, supporting people with disabilities, and in the residential sectors of foster care, youth detention centres, and child protection. Peter is a group facilitator who has delivered workshops, written and delivered training packages for child protection agencies, service organisations, and small groups. Furthermore, Peter has presented conference papers and training sessions on relationships and change management. He is also a trained and experienced conflict resolution mediator.

Peter has been a member of the Central Coast Local Health District Ethics and Research Committee. Recently, he served as a committee member of the Allied Health Reference Group for Hunter New England and the Central Coast Primary Health Network. Peter presently works in private practice as an Accredited Mental Health Social Work Counsellor.

Peter’s communication skills bring together diverse groups of people to work towards a common goal, aligning with the 2025-2026 theme, Unite for Good.

Peter is very fortunate to have his wife, Georgina and his daughter Eleni also in the same Rotary club as him. Peter also has three other children, Shayne, Stavri and Yannis and two in-laws, Bronte and Jayden.
